Dental, medical clinic and Ayurveda marketing for Kochi

Kochi patients do not search for a clinic in “Kochi” — they search for one in Kakkanad, Edappally or Vyttila, usually on a phone. We help dental clinics, medical clinics, hospitals and Ayurveda centres win those neighbourhood searches, answer every enquiry on WhatsApp, and turn visits into return visits. The audit happens at your clinic.

The local market

Kochi is a city of neighbourhoods, and Google treats it that way

A patient in Kakkanad with toothache does not want the biggest dental brand in Ernakulam. They want someone within fifteen minutes who can see them today. Google’s local results are built around that distance, so a clinic’s visibility in Kochi is decided street by street, not citywide.

That changes how a Kochi clinic should market itself. A single “best clinic in Kochi” page competes with every hospital group, directory and aggregator in the state. A clear page for the neighbourhood you are actually in — with the landmark, the parking and the metro station nearest your door — competes with the three or four clinics around you.

Kochi also has patients most Kerala towns do not. The IT parks in Kakkanad bring a large working population that searches in English, books after office hours and expects to message rather than call. Fort Kochi and Mattancherry bring visitors looking for Ayurveda. And Cochin International Airport brings Gulf-based Malayalis and their families, who often plan treatment around a visit home.

Each of these groups searches differently and needs a different page. Most Kochi clinic websites have one generic page and hope for the best.

The neighbourhoods we build for most. Each has its own search pattern, and each needs its own Google profile if you have a branch there. The metro corridor matters too: “near Edappally metro” is a real way people describe where a clinic is.

What we do for each kind of practice in Kochi

Dental clinics

Win the three kilometres around you

Dental is one of the most contested clinic searches in Kochi. Chains and standalone practices share the same streets, so the clinic that is specific wins.

  • One page per treatment and one per branch, each written for its neighbourhood rather than “Kochi”
  • Fee bands and visit counts on treatment pages, which the dental code permits and patients look for
  • Separate Google profiles for each real branch, never for addresses you do not staff
  • Paid search on two or three high-value treatments, with a tracked number and cost per booked consultation

Clinics, polyclinics & hospitals

Market the doctor, not only the building

In Kochi patients often choose a named specialist first and the hospital second. Your listings and pages should reflect that.

  • A page for every consultant with OP days, languages and qualifications as registered
  • Practitioner listings on Google where the rules allow them, linked to the facility listing
  • Department pages that answer the questions your call centre hears every day
  • WhatsApp enquiries answered at once and routed to the right desk; staff confirm the booking

Ayurveda centres

Visitors and residents want different pages

A centre in Fort Kochi and a centre in Tripunithura may offer the same therapies to very different people.

  • English pages for visitors that explain a first session, the duration and what to wear
  • Malayalam pages for residents managing long-term conditions
  • Programme enquiries for 7-, 14- and 21-day treatments that capture dates first
  • Copy that describes therapies, never promises cures, and is checked before it runs

Patients who fly in

Reaching Gulf and NRI patients from Kochi

Kerala has deep family ties to the Gulf, and Kochi’s airport is the gateway most of those families use. Many plan dental work, elective surgery or a course of Ayurveda around their annual leave. They research from Dubai, Riyadh or Doha weeks before they land.

What they need is different from a local patient. They want to know how many visits a treatment takes, over how many days, what it costs, and who will answer a message during Gulf working hours. Very few Kochi clinic websites answer any of that.

We build a dedicated page for patients travelling in, run ads to Malayali audiences in the Gulf only where the numbers justify it, and set up a WhatsApp flow that replies in English, Malayalam or Arabic. Your staff still confirm every booking.

A hospital, not only a clinic? The larger opportunity is medical value travel. KPMG’s Kerala Medical Value Travel Vision 2030 notes that Kerala has long drawn patients from the Middle East, and that Ayurveda medical tourism in the state has been growing 20–25% a year. The same principles apply at scale: department pages, named consultants, a contact on Gulf hours, and costs stated plainly.

One caution. Advertising a treatment to patients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia or Qatar can bring that country’s rules into play. Our GCC regulator guide covers who approves what.

Kerala’s advertising rules

What a Kochi clinic may and may not publish

Kochi’s competition tempts clinics into superlatives. The rules forbid most of them, and patients have stopped believing them anyway.

Safe, and usually effective

  • Treatments you offer, the equipment you actually have, and your fees if you choose to publish them
  • Doctors’ qualifications and registrations exactly as held, with languages spoken
  • Hours, OP days, parking, and the nearest landmark or metro station
  • Educational content written or reviewed by your own doctors
  • Genuine patient reviews collected from everyone, on Google’s own platform

Off limits

  • “Best”, “most advanced”, “number one” — superiority claims over other practitioners
  • Advertising a medicine or remedy as a cure for any disease listed under the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act, 1954
  • Influencer or “patient story” posts that hide a payment — the CCPA’s 2022 guidelines put duties on the endorser too
  • Before-and-after images of identifiable patients without clear, recorded consent
  • Paying or rewarding patients for reviews

Two Kerala specifics. Rate display under Section 39 of the Kerala Clinical Establishments Act, 2018 was upheld by the Kerala High Court in November 2025 and is now before the Supreme Court — check its status before relying on it either way. And patient data collected through forms and WhatsApp falls under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, whose consent and retention duties apply from May 2027 — easier to design in now than to retrofit later.

The first 90 days

What the first three months look like for a Kochi clinic

Week 1

Audit at your clinic

We check every Google listing that mentions you, including duplicates and old addresses, test how your phone and WhatsApp are answered, and map the three or four clinics you actually compete with.

Weeks 2–5

Fix the listings first

Merge duplicates, correct categories and hours, add practitioner listings where they belong, and start asking every patient for a review. This is the fastest work to show results.

Weeks 4–9

Pages for real searches

Treatment, doctor and neighbourhood pages in English, Malayalam versions of the ones that matter most, and a page for patients travelling from the Gulf if that is part of your business.

Weeks 8–12

Paid search, measured

Tracked numbers, one landing page per treatment, and a monthly report in cost per booked consultation. If a campaign cannot be measured, it does not run.

Working with us

How we work with Kochi clinics

In person, then remote

The audit is at your clinic. After that, most work runs on WhatsApp and a monthly review call, with visits when something on site needs to change.

Honest about proof

We have not yet published healthcare case studies and will not invent numbers. You can check our registered company, our office, the report format we use, and the sources behind every rule on this page.

Nothing held hostage

Domain, website, Google profiles and ad accounts are owned by the clinic. Walk away at any point and all of it stays with you; we only remove our own logins.

Questions

What Kochi clinic owners ask us

Should a Kochi clinic have one page for the city or pages for each neighbourhood?
For each neighbourhood where you actually have a branch, plus one page per treatment. Patients in Kochi search by area, and Google ranks local results by distance, so a page for Kakkanad or Edappally competes with the few clinics nearby rather than with every clinic in Ernakulam. Never create pages or listings for areas where you have no premises.
Our clinic is inside a hospital. Can we still market it separately?
Often, yes. Google allows individual practitioners to have their own listing in many cases, linked to the facility, and a doctor page on your own website can rank for the specialist’s name. The hospital’s own listing rules still apply, so we check what your agreement with the hospital allows before creating anything.
How long does clinic SEO take in Kochi?
Google profile corrections usually show within weeks. Treatment and neighbourhood pages take months in competitive specialties such as dental and dermatology, and less in specialist OPs. We give you a written estimate for your specialty and area after the audit, rather than a promise before it.
Do you visit clinics in Kochi, or is it all online?
We visit. The audit is done at your clinic anywhere in Kochi or Ernakulam, Monday to Saturday, because the signboard, the front desk and the map pin are part of the problem. Ongoing work then runs mostly on WhatsApp and a monthly review call.
Can you help us reach patients from the Gulf?
Yes. We build a page for patients travelling in that covers visits needed, duration and who to contact, and run ads to Malayali audiences in the Gulf only where the numbers justify it. Advertising into a GCC country can bring its own health-advertising rules into play, which we check first.
Can we publish before-and-after photos?
Only with clear, recorded consent from the patient, and even then carefully. The Indian dental code restricts self-promotion and boasting of cases, and Meta and Google both limit before-and-after health imagery in ads. Doctor-led educational content is the safer default and usually performs better.
What does it cost?
We scope each clinic rather than sell packages, because a single-chair practice in Kadavanthra and a multi-specialty hospital in Edappally are different jobs. The first audit is free; afterwards you receive a written scope and a quote. Ad spend goes on your own account and is never marked up.
